To Brides who were in the Briar Fox Room
When we toured the room, Dave told us about how the DJ has his own booth and the speakers usually go near the door/dance floor, which is away from the DJ. I know this isn't a normal DJ set up (they usually have speakers in front of their booth). Did anyone who used an outside vendor have any issues?
we used an outside vendor for our DJ and he set up the speakers by the door... no problems at all.. he said for that room thats where most DJ's put them.. regardless if they are in house vendors or not!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Thanks to all that answered about the DJ issue. I will defenatly call the Fox Hollow to be 100% sure. Also thanks for the Bravura reviews. I was sent their CD and kinda put it aside since I was in the process of moving. Then I got annoyed and purposely put them to the back of my mind b/c they kept calling and calling and I was like 'listen! wedding planing is on hold for now!' to them. Now I'll probably go back and listen to the CD!

lol planning can get so overwhelming- i put it on hold for the last couple of months as well and now with the little breaks here and there with the holidays, i am able to have a little time to focus more on it... but it can def. get to the point where you're like F THIS right now!

FH brides...How many stations did you get for your CH?
In my contract it tells me I get to choose 5 stations and underneath each station I choose 2. That means I only have 10 hot dishes + the cheese/breads/fruits. Ummm...Is it me or is this NOT enough food??? I feel like such a jerk. At first it seemed like so much food and now I'm like, holy crap that is NOTHING!!!!! HELP!!!!!

right, the set up is the same for house vendors and non- house vendors..but if your DJ is not familiar w/ the Fox Hollow.. they may not be prepared with how to set up their system in the Briar Fox so they should just be made aware...

15 is ALOT.. My friends wedding had like 5 small hot stations (all set up on the same long table) - and everyone was STUFFEd after the CH..
What I try to do on here is to NOT compare what I'm getting to what other people are getting..beacause then i will drive myself crazy! LOL

I have been to 2 weddings at the FH, and the 10 stations are a LOT. They keep replenishing htem, so its not just one platter of each, it keeps coming. The first wedding I went to at the FH I walked into the cocktail hour and thought it WAS the reception (From Florida, they dont have cocktail hours there)

LOL... that is funny because when we went to check out Fox Hollow - I peeked into the WGP and saw soo much food I thought it was a buffet reception...she told me it was just the cocktail hour...

We have the same as MrsLarrea2B and one extra pasta station. I think that is well more than enough food. Then there is still appetizer/salad, dinner and dessert and cake! I think most people will be too full to eat the cake!
