Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

My wedding is drawing near and I am frantic with questions! I feel like that commercial for Ask.com where the woman has a guy attached to her asking a million questions. They just keep popping into my head! I awaiting to hear back from AnnMarie, but figured you guys would answer my questions much faster! LOL

Here it is:

Do you have to have tables of 10?
Our wedding is much smaller & my Mom & FMIL have some tables with 8 or 9 (can't remember right now off top of my head)

I would have had more time to find this answer had my FMIL not given me her seating chart YESTERDAY!!! That was a big issue, she had no clue what we were talking about as if she didn't have to do this for her daughters wedding!!!

I know I am not an avid poster but I appreciate your help! Thank you

Yea thats fine. If one or two people are missing from a table of 10, I don't see the problem. If it was like a table of 5, then thats another story.

Our tables ranged from 8-12 people and it wasn't a problem at all.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Ok ladies once again I need your help. I am trying to get an idea of what I would be paying total for the RH. I am not sure how they do the calculations but I am hoping if I give you smart ladies the numbers maybe you can help me figure it out. Ok here we go:
My rate is $55.00pp I am having 75ppl the sc is 20percent and then the tax of ? Not sure what the tax is. Is it 8.625 percent? Also I have a ceremony fee of 750.out of those 75 ppl three are children who gets a third off plus I have two vendors vendors who are also a third off and they were not included in the 75ppl. Are you ladies still with me? Lol...if anyone could help me I would so appreciate it. I tried to call FH and ash but they said thety would give me the price when I give my final count. I am just trying to get a basic estimate not so much an actual $$ amount. I just want to see if I would potentially have room to add a few more ppl. I originally gave them a set number of 75 and I only have to guarantee 60 but I just wanted to see if we may be able to add a couple of more ppl without breaking the bank. I could do my own math and come with one amount and think everything is ok and then be possibly screwed when FH does their calculations. Please please please help.

Ok this is how I did it:

75 people @ $55pp = $4,125
Tax = $355.78
Tip = $825
Ceremony = $750

Thats a total of $6,055.78

I was told 10 for a January wedding - 7 Must be filled. So I would think December would be the same.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

For all your Fox Hollow brides using or who have used Rev. Nick - I know he is paid directly by Fox Hollow - (we pay Fox Hollow the fee and they pay him) -- are we supposed to tip him?

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Agreed-you don't have to tip him-he's making money from Fox Hollow, but I'm sure he would appreciate a tip, but it's definitely not necesary.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Yeah, I mean it's not like I've even met him- we spoke once over the phone and I'm under the impression that the 400 bucks goes straight to him so in my opinion, for a 20 minute ceremony, it's plenty- maybe I'm just a newbie to this and don't know the etiquette but that's how I feel right now lol.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

LOL i guess that isn't too bad but I feel like it's by force haha. I mean I don't know the guy so I shouldn't judge just yet. But if someone asks for a donation, I'd be kind of shocked and couldn't say no because that's just my personality- I feel bad lol.
