I only spoke on the phone with him as well. He seems really nice and was helpful. So far I plan on giving him something small, that is unless something happens between now and day of wedding.

Any former brides get the Day of Coordinators from Perfect Wedding Planner? I'm still debating on wether or not I want to do this. If you got them, did you think it was worth the cost? Pros, cons? TIA

I didn't book with them bc I thought their prices were just way to high. I booked with By your side Events and I am getting a planner and assistant.
FM me for more info if you want.

I am using the PWP DOC Jessica D has ALREADY helped me out tremendously and that's before I booked with her! To me they're already worth their cost. She helped me with my flowers, my invitations, etc. etc.
I can not say enough about the women at PWP they are an invaluable resource and ALL of them have been absolutely wonderful.
If you have any specific questions feel free to FM me.

I called for a quote also and thought it was way overpriced. Almost double of a lot of other DOC that I got quotes from. I think its funny that Fox Hollow tells you that you get a free wedding planner when you book.

I agree, I even mentioned it at my PWP meeting and they were like, 'Oh I am not sure why Dave told you that, it is not true we will have to talk to him about it' but yet I hear many brides were told the same thing, what a ploy to get you to go there. I was psyched when they told me about all their wedding day services and then the price was mentioned and I almost passed out. Needless to say I didnt book them though i would've loved to I just cant afford it since we are paying for everything by ourselves I cannot justify that expense.

What is the difference between a DOC and a bridal attendant? Do i have to pay for the bridal attendant because no one told me that? or is it just for the DOC?

The Bridal attendant attends to you and often to the groom - the DOC - day of coordinator makes sure all the events of the day run smoothly... but if you already have a Matre'd isn't that enough?

Yes....from speaking to past brides the Matre'd has taken care of everything for them. I have been to so many weddings that didn't have a DOC and everything ran smoothly. If you give the Fox Hollow everything to set up with instructions I think it will be fine. I just plan to have my aunts double check everything the day of.

LOL... i hear that.. I am a nervous wreck when it comes to having other people do things for me... 'are they doing it right????'... is in my head the whole time.. im having my mom do a walk around the room before to make sure everything is done correctly..
But i dont think a DOC is necessary, esp since i've heard that the Fox HOllow is AMAZING!!!!

And I would also like to add that altho I am not using PWP DOC services (not in my budget) - those girls are amazing and very helpful --- got to a tea party if you already haven't.. if you have questions , you can call them and they are more than happy to answer them for you..

Not sure , but at this point, you probably already have everything book - so it might not be THAT helpful to you... but they are fun nonetheless..

The tea party is really to help you get started with your planning. If you havent gone there really isnt a need for you to go now.

Ok ladies once again I need your help. I am trying to get an idea of what I would be paying total for the RH. I am not sure how they do the calculations but I am hoping if I give you smart ladies the numbers maybe you can help me figure it out. Ok here we go:
My rate is $55.00pp I am having 75ppl the sc is 20percent and then the tax of ? Not sure what the tax is. Is it 8.625 percent? Also I have a ceremony fee of 750.out of those 75 ppl three are children who gets a third off plus I have two vendors vendors who are also a third off and they were not included in the 75ppl. Are you ladies still with me? Lol...if anyone could help me I would so appreciate it. I tried to call FH and ash but they said thety would give me the price when I give my final count. I am just trying to get a basic estimate not so much an actual $$ amount. I just want to see if I would potentially have room to add a few more ppl. I originally gave them a set number of 75 and I only have to guarantee 60 but I just wanted to see if we may be able to add a couple of more ppl without breaking the bank. I could do my own math and come with one amount and think everything is ok and then be possibly screwed when FH does their calculations. Please please please help.
Ok this is how I did it:
75 people @ $55pp = $4,125
Tax = $355.78
Tip = $825
Ceremony = $750
Thats a total of $6,055.78
Girl you are the best I thank you so much.
when i spoke to my bm, he told me that the service gets taxed...and im fairly certain the ceremony gets serviced and taxed as well....
so i would've thought it would be :
75x55 = 4125
chapel = 750
service = 975
tax = 504.56
total: 6354.56
i should email him lol

Thank you. I didn't even think that the ceremony would be taxed. I thought it was a flat rate. But if you find out please let me know. I know everyone at FH thinks I'm a real pain in the a$$ because I call so much.LOL
