Nope no bar & they now dont evenallow an after party in teh back room. Which im kind of upset about.
I've heard the inn is kind of 'stuffy' ... in other words, plan on having your after party somewhere else. My reception ends at 5..so we're thinking of heading to the bowling alley. (hopefully they dont have leagues taking up the whole place)
I was thinking of looking into local bars that are 5-10 minutes away on Jericho, any suggestions?

Does the Inn have a bar for guests to hang out after the wedding?
I stayed there after my wedding and I didnt see a bar.
They don't have one. We tried to get the bar at the restaurant to stay open after our wedding, along with another bride who was the same day, and they wouldn't do it.

When we originally booked with Fox Hollow they said we could do an after party there. Since the Restauranr bar closes early. My wedding ends at midnight & then we thought we could have a small gathering in the back room. But now they have changed their tune. Maybe we coul ddo it anyway i will call Victor.
if you got this in writing, then they would probably have to let you do it!!!

I'm pretty sure its 1/3 off the price.
But I'm going on Wed for my menu, linens and cake meeting. I'll double check for you if you don't find out before then.

It is definitely 1/3 off. They're not that generous, haha.

Thanks ladies. Boy that stinks, at my friend's wedding it was a set price for vendors. Her per plate was more than mine and she paid less for vendors to eat!

They have a 'no party policy' so no bar in the hotel and not hanging out in a room either! Everything must be quiet by 10pm. That is what we were told during that breakfast thing to block the rooms when we asked.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
i know someone must've asked this before, but do all my vendors have to be insured? like if i hired a freelance video guy, he's probably not going to have one of those umbrella insurance polices i'm assuming...should i be only looking into vendors with insurance?

All vendors must be insured for a certain amount (we were told this by PWP at a tea party) - for this reason we didn't use one of FH's friends as a DJ -its just less of a headache to go with a reputable company that you KNOW is fully insured...
just want to add..i dont remember for how much they need to be insured, but you can call PWP and ask them or ask your BM.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I just wanted to give you my $.02.First, most RH require all vendors to have insurance - they should do this and are usually required to by their insurance company. But most importantly if you hired someone without insurance and something happens, you may become liable. Example - your non insured vendor leaves a wire, cable, battery, camera etc on the floor and someone trips on it and gets hurt. Guess what? You could be the one that gets sued. I heard of a situation where a pregnant woman fell on someone's equipment causing complications to the birth. The vendor had no insurance thus the bride/groom and their families were sued. The families because they helped pay for the wedding so they became liable.
Keep in mind even if you are found not to be liable the cost to defend a case could be in the tens of thousands of dollars.
