I hope it's ok if I still reply to this thread, even though most of you know my wedding is not taking place in 2 days at the TC like it was supposed too.Gina, I will send you an FM, thanks.
I did want to say quickly though, when I had gone in for my 3 month meeting, I had brought in pictures of cakes I like, I wanted a blue seashell themed cake, and they had no problem accomodating that at no extra cost.
Even though I am in the horrible situation I'm in now, I really do wish all of you ladies a fabulous wedding at TC!

Just a word about your 3 month meeting - take notes and be prepared. I really thought I would remember everything we picked out. I can't remember half of the food we opted for. FH and I look at each other every once and a while and go 'duh'
Also, really start looking at cakes you like. I wasn't prepared for that at all and was thrilled with anything in their book. Now I'm looking at stuff and thinking I may want to call them and change my cake. Not the flavors - just the look.

Our meeting was about an hour and half long. we picked linen colors and went through the menu and then the cake. We also were asked what 'supplies' we had (cake topper, card box, etc.). They also gave us the direction cards at the meeting. They come 25 to a packet. The girl downstairs told us there were 40 in a packet so I ran out when stuffing my invitations and had to go get more (just a helpful hint - make sure you ask for enough)!
As far as menus go, they provide personalized menus for your wedding. They say your names and wedding date. No need to make your own unless you're really pick about colors, etc. I'm not so, the ones they give us will be just fine.

For the hospitality hour, I believe he told me it was about 2-3 per person. They would have some coffee and cakes I think he said for them and It would be in the room across from the main room.
I have my paperwork in front of me and cant seem to find anything about a hospitality hour... I do have something that says $150 for up to 15 people for an hour early arrival and you get champagne and soft drinks, and then prices for cheese and crackers or open bar for that hour... but its only for 15 people... maybe because I am not getting married there I didnt get that info

Maybe. They never told me anything about it only that I can arrive one hour before C/H. I do have to find out the cost of open bar they do not start the bar till C/H but I know my Bp and they will want to drink! I also never even asked them what liquor is at the bar SO I may have to upgrade I was SO mad at myself when I realized I never asked them about there liquor

Ladies I need HELP!I dont usually post but since this is our RH thread I am hoping you have some advice/suggestions for me.
To make a long story short- I might need to push back my wedding. My Dad is in the hospital w/ a ruptured brain anurysm & even know he is okay the Dr. say the recovery process is VERY slow. I want my Dad to be 100% for my wedding & so I have been thinking of pushing the date back.
Do you even think its possible?
Will TC penalize me? I have a contract for the all-inclusive winter package but if we push it back, do you think we will lose that?
I am so stressed, sad, confused, etc etc.
Please Help.

I have heard other people on here say that they were able to puch back their date for various reasons and that the TC was very helpful. I would definatley talk to them-then you will feel better and be able to focus on your dad. I'm so sorry that you are going through this
