So I said last week I wanted to join your forum to motivate myself. I have not been great but better than before.
I have been doing the tredmill each day out of convience because I have one basement. Each time I have been walking for an hour.
Last week:
I did it 4 days last week and burned on average 351 calories and 109 fat calories
I started again this week but have not been as good about everything. My FH b-day was over the past weekend so I did not do much exercise and I also ate more.
However, I am attempting to get myself back on track.
You know what? Life hapens - we aren't going to be perfect everyday, but that is why it's important to never give up with exercise, and just keep going back to your ruotine - once you have a steady routine going, your body becomes a lot more forgiving for a treat or abreak here and there!!!
Stay motivated!!! You are doing a great job!!!

Re: OFFICIAL WORKOUT LOG OF 2006!
Weds night - 60 min kickbox class - cardio and toning interspersed with partner drills
Last night - 60 min cardio class
I am trying to find time to do weights - but I am exhausted in the morning - just can't wake up, and exhausted when I get home (I work 6 days a week literaly ALL day - motivating myself at this point can't happen)
I figure - ok - I won't look muscular at my wedding, but I'll look fit. I can always incorporate weights again when I am not working 3 jobs, going to school 2 nights a week, AND planning a wedding. Considering all this - I am DAMN proud of the 4 workouts I put in a week!!!

You should definitely be proud! But if you want to do a little weights, you could consider buying a set of 5 lb weights and just doing some reps as you relax watching tv, or something like that. I'm going to do that in the hopes that I will get more muscle work done than if I just go to the gym and do it.

I would up that weight to 10-12 lbs. 5 lbs. is too light!

That is what I was doing. I didn't start to time the sprint until I was up to full speed
FH said once it gets warmer he will go running with me outside to do intervals - it will be SO much easier!
SO that means just a few more months of treadmill running

When I was in college, and had no money for a fancy gym, I used to do Gilad's workout constantly. He is great.
Today I did:
5 minute warm up followed by seated leg press, leg extension, leg curls, abductors, adductors, butt blaster, 15 mintues of abs and 30 minutes on the elliptical cross trainer.
Tommorow I am skipping the gym to visit a friend in the hospital. She delivered a beautiful baby girl today after 5 years of trying!!!

Re: OFFICIAL WORKOUT LOG OF 2006!
Okay, last week I did as well as I could. I went to the gym twice, and did 40 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weights both times. Another day I walked while doing my errands--it's a good 25 minutes from my house to the places I was going to, so I walked both ways instead of driving.I found it really difficult to squeeze in more than that, but I felt it was good given the way my week was going.
