The picture of the tree centerpiece is in my album. Let me know what you all think. Thank you!

I LOVE THEM! This is only confusing me, though! We were never offered these centerpieces and already set up something really nice with our florist, but these centerpieces go perfectly with our nature theme! They practically match our favors and invitations! Help, ladies! Should I just pretend I never saw them?

I would save the money- cancel your flower arrangements and use these!! They are really pretty and will look even prettier with the candles lit.

I am so torn! I had really fallen in love with my florist's idea...maybe I could keep the petals around the centerpiece? But this is supposed to have candles go in it, right? Do we provide those? Plus, my wedding is a day wedding and I worry that the candle-lit look won't have the same effect during the day....

Oh i see what your saying. I would ask the thatched cottage what they think since they do this sort of thing every day. You can still do the petals around the centerpieces.

Thanks for your help. I can't believe I am having a centerpiece dilemma 33 days before the wedding. So, TC now includes these CP's? Should I just call and demand them?

Re: Thatched cottage thread

I spoke to Andre and he said that the cp's are included for winter packages, but are $35 per cp otherwise, so we will stick with the cp's from the florist. At least that makes my decision easier!

Re: Thatched cottage thread

I know a florist said they could weave flowers through them to make them more summery. My fiance and my mother really like them, even for August but I am still unsure.

Re: Thatched cottage thread

It's a little scary that the bathrooms were out of order!! Maybe they were bringing it into this century!

So any more updates on the showcase?

Re: Thatched cottage thread

The bathrooms looked like they were working the other day when I was there... there were little 16yr olds running in there with bare feet (yuck!) while we waited. Unfortunately from what I saw they were still ugly lol.

Ive never been told that the smaller room would have another bathroom! In fact I asked if I can call a few weeks before to see if there was another party booked since I didnt want to supply the other party with toiletries and was told yes. That would be great though!

Re: Thatched cottage thread

yeah its all the way in the back, past the bar. There's a small hallway at the far end of the room and apparently there is a mens room and a ladies room...ALWAYS locked!

Re: Thatched cottage thread

I have never even checked out the bathrooms! I guess I should have before I booked, but honestly, I loved the place so much I didn't even think of it. I saw the bathroom in the bridal suite that I'll be using and I guess I thought that was enough.

Now I feel like I have to take a ride there just to check it out!

Re: Thatched cottage thread

LOL it was one of the first things I did in each place! But obviously, it didnt change how I felt about the place, I fell in love despite the 1980's bathrooms
