doing well. Picked and ordered BM dresses last night. Went with the color 'mink' which is a really rich deep brown. My sisters were both measured and ordered their dresses. Now I'm just waiting to hear from FSIL (who lives in FL) as to whether or not she's going to try to get the dress down there or send her measurements up here.
Speaking of which, I know there's been talk of the linens at TC - but does anyone know what colors they come in? Now that I actually have a color scheme (going with the whole fall color palette), it opens up a whole new world.
I went there about two weeks ago and took a look at the linens. There were options that could be both tablecloths and napkins and some which are napkins only. For the tables the colors available that I can remember were white, cream, black, red, light blue, and pink. The napkins were available also in two different light greens, a teal, a lilac. There were also some more neon-ish colors. There were probably more available that I cant remember but I was focused on trying to match my theme so I apologize.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
HI Girls! I stopped by to make another payment and asked for that extra list. I just wanted to be prepared! They had a casino night add on!!! And a dance party where someone will teach you dances and stuff! All of that was crazy expensive, but I thought it was really cool. They also have an old fashioned candy cart! If we do anything, it might be that. And possibly a seafood add on for cocktail hour. Is anyone else planning on adding anything on?

Re: Thatched cottage thread
As of right now, the only add on we're thinking about is maybe adding a half hour to the CH. We keep tossing it around but haven't made a decision yet.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
The first time I called, the second time I just stopped by! LOL i know I'm a freak. I would just recommend to go early on the weekend, so that you dont walk in in the middle of a wedding or something. They seemed to be pretty accomodating with showing me and my endless parade of family members around

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I am making myself add 5 addresses a day. I told myself that they had to go out by 3/14 -- 8 months before. That didn't happen. Now my goal is by 4/1. At this point, I'll just stick 'em in the envelope with the invitations!

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Speaking of seating charts...we are just doing ours now! I don't know where to put family or the BP...there is our table in the middle...one table on either side...and other farther tables. Where does the BP go and where do our parents go? AHH!

Re: Thatched cottage thread
we put parents and grandparents at table 1, and the bridal party at table 2, so that they are equal on either side of us. it takes a long time to figure out the seating charts, i'm still doing it. you have to come up with all different possibilities to figure out what's best. good luck, and it's kind of fun

Re: Thatched cottage thread
I just starting doing mine and I am doing my family on the right of me and FH family on left of him. I am putting the BP right by the dance floor (by the bar area). I think this will work.
