I have heard the same about the tables---the dividing by 12 thing. But what if I have 200 people---then I would have to for 16-17 at a table to only have 12? That's crazy!

noooooooooooo - you're not understanding

if you had 200 guests

you take 200/12 = 16.67 rounds to 17

17 is the number of tables you have - you choose how many people to sit at each table.....


not that you would have to sit 16 or 17 people per table

make sense now?

lol!!!!! I actually did know that but everytime it gets brought up on here I get confused!!! I did know though cuz I was planning on have 17 tables at the very most!

I think I'm seriously brain dead at this point. I bought stuff to make my own centerpieces and def bought enough for 18 tables so I must have understood about the table set up at some point! God I need a vacation!

you must be sooooooo excited! Only a few days left!

glad i could help...

i am in a weird state right now...there are still some things that i have to do that are nagging me and work has been nothing short of crazy lately - but i am excited somewhat...i am sure as thurs approaches (wed is my last day at work) - i will be a lot more excited!

Yes, I guess I am a little sad about that. But at the same time, I am sort of happy all the planning will be over. Bittersweet - lol!

I felt that way, too! Then, it all came back after the wedding! I finally just finished cleaning it yesterday. Good luck, and I hope you have an amazing day!

i am not looking forward to getting it back, but i wont have to worry about the votives [i am letting the guests take them home] or centerpiece boxes because those are going in the garbage - sad - but true

I met with her when I got prices and booked. I also met with the guy ( Cant remember his name for the life of me!) When I took my brother to see the place. He was sooo nice.

Andre! Thats it! He was really nice. I liked Tonianne too...she really worked with us to get (almost) everything we wanted! Im keeping my fingers crossed that they will continue to work with us if our numbers increase closer to the wedding date so we can get some cool extras for not that much $$

honestly - no you DONT HAVE TO HAVE 12 PER TABLE....

sorry for the CAPS....but this gets debated alot - lol - i am not trying to offend anyone.

The way it works is that you take your

total number of guests and divide by 12.

if you have 150 guests/12 = 12.5 tables which you round to 13 tables for your wedding without incurring any extra fees

it DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU SIT at each table....just that your total number of tables equals the number you reached by dividing your numbers of guests by 12.

you can sit 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 people at a table....for instance i have some tables with 10 and some with 14....

you will however, incur extra fees if you only had 150 guests and wanted 14 tables total instead of 13 tables....because then they have to have an additional waiter/bus boy for that additional table

Thank you for your help- Does the number of tables include the sweetheart table?

I saw you crossed out the two tables next to the sweetheart table. I am curious why? Does this look nicer in the room? Does it give you more room? Your help is appreciated. I am sure right now the last thing you want to do is answer all these questions! LOL Thanks
