it was wonderful - the rain was not wonderful - and means i dont have pics outside...but overall everything went smoothly....one thing is make sure they have your tables right - mine were not how i asked them to be...and of course when you are in the middle of things you cant recall everything...

one more question: your cake looks great! Did you use one of the ones TC provides or did you get it specially made? Is it ivory or white?

Re: Thatched cottage thread
those first few pics were at the vanderbilt museum which is a few min from thatched - we booked a 1.5 hour time slot there in case of rain and i am so glad that we didthe tables were not in the order i had them on my seating chart - and they brough me up to look at them, but i was so stressed with other things that i didnt notice that...i noticed only one table, which they switched right away, but did not notice the other table...which meant that people who should have been closer to me were not...

I provided the design of what I wanted to them. But, the monogram, I made myself because I do baking and cake decorating on the side. [I also made my own shamrock cookie favors]. The cake was delicious! We had devils food with cannoli cream filling. Oh and it was ivory.
