Re: Thatched cottage thread
it was chocolate cake with raspberry and vanilla pudding. it was great, i'm sure whatever you pick will be great. i didn't eat much but the food was awesome and everyone was so impressed when they offered them seconds. then we had the sundae bar rolled out and everyone was like MORE FOOD??!?!?! we didn't get to the cocktail hour in time but they brought food up to us in the bridal suite and it was all amazing. like i said though i was a nervous wreck and i hardly got to eat anything.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Did anyone see the flyer they had in Newsday yesterday about the mother's day brunch or dinner? My mom has never been there, I might ask her if she wants to go there for mother's day to eat and check out where I'm getting married!

Re: Thatched cottage thread
I'm going non-traditional. My favorite cake is yellow cake with chocolate frosting. FH doesn't really have an opinion, but I think a dark chocolate frosted wedding cake will look really great with our 'fall' colors.Welcome New Vendors
