Re: Thatched cottage thread

Is anyone having a large bridal party? Mine is going to be 18 people large. I am a little nervous about fitting us all in that tiny room. I did see a larger room all the way in the back of the hallway, I think it was just redone. I wonder if we could use that one instead???

Re: Thatched cottage thread

That room is used as the chapel...I dont see why it cant be used as a bridal suite! I think I asked if I can have the kids stay in there with a baby sitter and they said it wouldnt be a problem! We have a large bridal party too.. but I dont know if we're really going to be in there that long, because we will def be going to the cocktail hour

Re: Thatched cottage thread

I pretty much have everything done! I'm going on monday to TC to drop everything off and make the final payment. I just got my place cards back today and made the oot bags and bathroom baskets. My biggest worry is packing for the hotel the night before and having enough money for all the tips I need to give out that day.

Actually my biggest problem is that I've called the TC every single day to get the total for my final payment and they won't call me back.

Other than that I'm just nervous in general about the wedding, but not stressed with things to get done.

Re: Thatched cottage thread

BTW....I got samples of the paper that they use for the menus and a sample place card so that I could match the color when I DIY my programs and cards for my donation/favors---and they use two papers that are totally different colors for each each thing, so that didnt help me tie it all together! Now I don't know what the heck to use!

Re: Thatched cottage thread

I wonder if you really wanted a specific color for the menus if you could bring in the paper for them....maybe that might solve your issue.

Re: Thatched cottage thread

Today is our 18 month countdown. The wedding isn't 2 years away anymore....so exciting! I am really worried about this whole hotel thing. I am trying to relax though. Tomorrow we are going to Orlando with the family and I am sure there is enough stress that will come along with this trip

They menus were pretty! The were an ecru white--a little off white. The bride and grooms names were at the top and then the food is under that. the print is black. The place cards were on a more yellow/ivory paper.....they were cute too with the swan on them

that is true----I probably should just stop obsessing over it---in the end does it really matter if every paper used the day of the wedding is the same exact color---probably not, but it's so hard not to want it perfect!

I hear you on wanting everything to match but it really doesn't matter. People will remember- the place, the food, the DJ and the beautiful bride and groom
