Re: Thatched cottage thread
I can only go by what i saw in there one day when I was in a meeting, there were no parties going on so the basket was pretty empty. Just some tampons/pads and I think there was some hand lotion, looked like there was room in the basket for other stuff but it probably is filled right b4 a party I would guess. I know he said they just provide the basics so I am not sure what else they would have.

My March Saturday afternoon wedding was less than that. It cannot hurt to go speak to them. Good luck!

Re: Thatched cottage thread
I've been really considering adding on the Viennese hour...but I dont know if its worth it. Its typically my favorite part of a wedding, at places like Giorgios and El Carib, where they have Popcorn, Cotton candy, etc...I know they dont include those things at the thatched so when we booked we decided to just go with the chocolate fountain and ice cream bar and we got the extra hour for extra dancing and dessert. Now I feel like im putting so much into the rest of the wedding and the end is going to be a disappointment... Has anyone had the Viennese hour? Id love to see some pictures to see if its worth it... Also, do you think if we were way over our min set (175) they might be willing to work with us on the price of adding it on closer to the date?

my min is 125 but i know we will go over that . We have the viennese hr which i actually didnt want i think it take away from dancing, but it came with our winter special , i think with the cake and ice cream thats fine, if you wanna add somthing else you could have them make a little fruit platter for each table i orginial wanted that.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Hi :) flower appt went good. I picked really simple centerpieces (peonies in a bowl shape vase) so that's what I got. I am having two taper candles on each side of centerpeice and a bunch of votives. Today I got eyelash extensions and I love them!! Also got a spray tan. Fun fun stuff :) tomorrow I go to pick up my dress and also get a mani/pedi. I'm all set and I can't wait to share pictures with you ladies. Thanks for checkin in :) hope your wedding plans are going well!!
