Hey Guys, I am new to this site and am also getting married at the Thatched Cottage. My wedding date in January 22, 2011. I was wondering if anyone was having a band for their wedding?

Congrats! We wanted a band but the one we wanted was COMPLETELY out of our price range, so we found a DJ that we LOVE!!!

When I inquired about it at my meeting he made it seem that it was more of a showcase for the DJ then thatched and he said that all they do is give them a place to hold it. I asked who else was going to be there and he was just kinda like oh its more of the DJ's thing so who ever he asks..... He said they have them often but said they dont like to solicit their brides.
