It's start - they really do need to update the pictures and the testimonials though.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
We're doing the chocolate fountain and the ice cream bar. I wanted to do the Vienese hour but it didnt feel like they included that many more things that would make it worth the price..i really want a cotton candy and popcorn machine lol- so the choco fountain and ice cream bar was my consolation i guess...we also added on the extra hour for more dance time!

What does the Viennese Hour include??
I got some summer afternoon package, and it includes the viennese hour.
Also, I have to go look at their website now!!

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Hey, Is anyone making 'I do/ We do' letters for the cake table? I'm not sure how big of a table they have there or how big to make the letters.....Also, do you think the letters should say I do or We do?

Re: Thatched cottage thread
They said a bunch of cakes, puddings pies, etc. It also included the choc fountain and the ice cream bar... Just getting those two things were cheaper and were honestly the only things I wanted in the package.

It includes the chocolate fountain?? wow, thats awesome!! I didn't even know that. I hope thats true!!
I agree, that if my package didn't include the Viennese table,I wouldn't be getting it...it was waaayy too much money pp.
I don't think I am going to do letters for the cake table...but I think people usually do 'We do'. Although, I do kinda makes more sense lol.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
I think it was kind of new when I booked..we booked like a month after we first looked there, and itw asn't available the first time we looked...It is a Summer Afternoon wedding package. It includes:100 guests
Everything form the normal menu - including menu and CH
DJ
Viennese Table
Those silver tree centerpieces (although we do not plan on using these)
Since we are having a small wedding, our minimum was 100 in the first place, it ends up being much cheaper in the package, then the original quote we received.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Is anyone having plasma screens or any kind of projector at TC? We really want one and just spoke to someone who works with our DJ who can do this. Our wedding is in only a few weeks, but I really want this. I will have to call TC tomorrow to see if this is ok but I figured I would ask if anyone has already set this up with them. TIA!

Not having a chocolate fountain reallly wanted it but I asked for the 'extras' sheet early when I went for my meeting last week so I could plan ahead.. and it was $1000 extra just for the chocolate fountain!!!!!

I am having 2 plasma screens! Super excited! Our DJ package is a gift from my uncle. Told thatched I was having them and they were fine with it! He didn't write it down on my contract or anything but maybe it was just too early, but I would call and make sure just in case!

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Its probably BEAUTIFUL though... It says it comes with ALL kinds of stuff for dipping, and strawberries hung from trees! I have heard of it being much more other places...so its probably a good price. Just not in our budget anymore.Welcome New Vendors
