we had fox hollow's menus and they were just plain white or ivory paper (nice enough paper) with our names printed in a script on top and the date.. no fox hollow logo or anything. they were nice enough. menus were one thing i didn't obsess over..
i'll get pics out soon! one of my friends just posted some on facebook and there are some good room shots.. just have to figure out how to get those pics..
Did you ask to have your names printed on them, or they just did that automatically?

We had to ask...twice..and make sure they wrote it down to have our names on it. But it was nice!

I was debating whether to give them my own paper or just use theirs but if you say that their paper came out fine, I may just skip the added expense.
btw- went to see my CP from Pedestals tonight and love it! I got to take it home. I will try to post pics tonight, 3 1/2 weeks to go!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Fox Hollow uses 4x6 frames for the table numbers, so if you want 5x7, you'd need to buy your own frames. On a similar note, I just found out that the frames in the Winter garden pavillion are GOLD. Perfect for me and my fall theme.

I thought their paper was fine. What they did was email me the file of the menu and I was able to input our monogram and send it back to them. make sure to double check that they send you the right one. The girl we delt with kept sending us one that had Chateau Briand instead of Filet Mignone and we had to have her resend it twice till it was right. here is a pic- best one I have of the menu- sorry its hard to see. but the paper was ivory and It was a little thicker than regualr paper like you have in a printer, but not much.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Hi FH ladies-This is my first time posting a question. I usually just lay low and read what you guys write. So far you all have answered all my questions.
Past Fox Hollow Brides....
Here are a few that I have not come across....
1-Does FH have a bathroom basket or do I provide my own?
2-Should I look into getting a DOC or will my bridal attendant/Maitr'D take care of the little things. (eg. Line us up in order, make sure the place cards are set up, etc)
Thanks so much!!

RE Bathroom Baskets - I was told that if your wedding is on a Saturday night, the woman who works the bathroom (the attendant) usually has a little one there for the guests. Might be the same for Friday night, not sure. My wedding is on a Sat. afternoon, so I am making a basket for both the men's and ladies' room.
Re a DOC - the maitre d takes care of those things you mentioned, yes. I always thought a DOC is more for making sure you or no one else has to ask anyone for anything, she / he makes sure everything you wanted done was done right, etc.

Thanks so much!My wedding is on a Fri night so I guess I'll double check and call them up. I just hate calling FH. I can never get a hold of Dave Gerin. :(

If you wait until you have your final meeting - not the final final when you bring all of your things there, but the one in which you pick out your menu, etc which should be 2 mos. or so prior to your wedding date - they can definitely help you then. This is one of those things you don't need to make right away - it will only take an hour or so to buy the things, and then an hour to put them in a basket all pretty! Don't worry about this item on your list until later.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
We did not ask for our names to be on the menu, but they were. I actually asked them if there was anything our names were going to be on, as my husband's name was spelled incorrectly on our contract and invoices at first.. they said they wouldn't be putting our names on anything, but did correct it.. not sure how we ended up with our names on the menu, but i liked it and i was happy that his name was spelled correctly! As for the DOC question- i might have mentioned this, but here are my thoughts. You don't NEED one because FH will take care of those things like placecards and lining up and schedule, but a HUGE WARNING- make sure that your maitre d has the same schedule you had. I honestly don't know where Roger got his schedule because it WASN'T the one I discussed with Frank three days before my wedding.. and it wasn't the one my DJ had. So the DJ and Roger kept having to stop me to ask what I wanted (i.e. 'I have this, he has this, what do you want?') To be honest, that really stunk and I wished I had a DOC to be in charge of stuff like that.
Also.. i just found out that apparently the maitre d was bringing everyone food from cocktail hour when we were taking pictures in the photo studio. (somehow i didn't notice). I kind of wonder why he never offered me anything!!! Not to mention, i had to practically beg them to get me a glass of water. Again- they were incredible to my family, i just felt like they left me out.. and that's a little odd, no?
I will reiterate that all in all, i was completely thrilled with my wedding and that none of these little things really mattered all that much.. but if my mentioning them can help any of you know what to expect or plan around, then hopefully it's worth mentioning.

Thanks girls- Gina thanks for posting the pic of the menu. I think (from what I can see) that they looked nice- after all it is a menu and no one will remember if I made them or if FH made them
Does anyone know AnnMarie's email so I can ask her to send me the template???
