Linda welcome back
I am gonna check your album for pics now. If you can get the name of your bridal attendant I am sure we'd all love to know so that we can specifically request someone other than her. I am sorry to hear she did not help you at all - so many people say the bridal attendants there are so great.

Speaking of requesting a bridal attendant.. do we get the chance to meet or talk to the Maitre'd before the day of the wedding? Like to go over the schedule, etc...

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Thank you ladies for the kind compliments
Here are some answers:
The oblong tables fit about 10-12
My linens were all Ivory
Sorry, but you don't get to meet the maitre'd or bridal attendant before but you can make some request or ask them on the final interview who's gonna be.
Happy planning!

Great idea- i highly suggest you do this. For whatever reason, my maitre d didn't have the same schedule as the one i'd gone over with Frank three days before and it caused a LOT of headaches!! And i'm glad, browneyes, that your team got you food.. because while mine were busy serving my entire family (for which i'm grateful), they pretty much ignored me.. not cool!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Does anyone happen to have an email address for Dave Gerin. He was the BM that i booked with and i have a few questions that i need to ask. I would prefer to email him that way he can respond when he has time. I do not want to call and speak over the phone since i have sooo many questions, i don't want him to rush through. And besides, if after he answers my questions, if anything should change or something that i requested is not followed through, i will at least have his email as proof of what was promised to me. I think that is as good as him writing it in my contract.LOL

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Your welcome. I actually called Fox Hollow but Dave was unavailable and the woman, Diane, said she didn't know his email (?). He should be calling me back shortly so if i get it, i will let you know. Would you do the same if you should get in contact with him before i do?

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Ok so Dave Gerin just returned my call which i thank him very much for doing so but unfortunately it was a very unproductive phone call. He does NOT have an email address. I informed him that i had a few questions and his response was that someone by the mane of AnnMarie would be alling me sometime in November to sit with me and go over everything like floor plans, place cards etc. That's fine and all but now i have to wait about a month and a half to have all of my questions anwered and it's not that i'm being impatient it's just that there are certain things that i need to know now so i can continue my planning. There is one question that i DO want to ask you ladies and maybe i can actually get an answer... why when you book a place, sign a contract, and pay your deposit the person tells you right as your shaking hands and about to leave that 'If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call anytime'. Why say this if i can't get my questions answered anytime?
Excuse me ladies, i'm just have having a minor tantrum (i get it from my 4yr old)but i think i'm over it now. I actually feel a little better.
Ok well i'm going to add a few more things to my list of questions since i seem to have a little time before i get to ask them.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Just a heads up for you girls that have questions. You don't need to to talk to the person you booked with, really all they do is get you to sign a contract. You can call and ask to speak with any BM and they should be able to answer your questions.Or ask on here for general things, this thread is so helpful.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Thanks Ksquared. Once i get everything together i will try to post some of my questions here. It's just a little fustrating(sp?) when you call the people who are supposed to be there for you and they can't help you. You are absolutely right though, the ladies on this board are so great and soooo helpful. I should just ask all of my questions here. I'msure you guys will be able to answer them better anyway
Thanks

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Ok this is long so brace youself and please bear with me. Here are all of my questions that i need answers to. I hope some of you can help me. Some questions may be repeats but i am just copying what i have written down. Here we go...Am i entitled to a comp room at the inn?
Do they supply music for the ceremony?
When can I see the linens and chair covers?
Can i see a sample of the menus, place cards and direction cards?(considering doing my own)
Are votive and floating candles ok to use in my centerpieces?
Can we do a buffet table and how and when is it set up?
How much in advance can we go set things up?
How early can the dj set up?
If i get a room at the inn, how early do they allow you to check in?
Who are the main people to tip? How much?
How are the final payments broken up and when do we pay?
Can we take pics in the WG before the ceremony?
What is on the table for the CH? Any decorations?
How soon do we finalize the menu?
What happens if i do not meet my minimum?
Will there be a bathroom attendent?
Will valet and bathroom attendent be included in service charge?
Will I be provided with a floor plan of the WG to assist in seating?
If my guests arrive early, how will they be accomodated?
Will i have a bridal attendent and how long will she be with me?
If i bring my own flowers to go on the cake, will they allow me to show them how i want it placed or will they do what they want? or is it best that i bring a photo of what i want?
If i choose NOT to do flowers on the cake, do they do any type of design or use coloring on the cake where i would not have to pay extra for it?
What do the table number frames look like? will i be able to see them before the wedding?
I am thinking of doing a seating scroll in place of place cards...would they provide the easel for the scroll or do i have to supply my own?
Am i even allowed to do my own place cards, menus and table numbers?
Ok that's it for now. Sorry if it was too lengthy or if they're a little dumb. But these are just some of the things that came acroos my mind. I fell so lost and have NO idea what i'm doing half the time. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
