Does anyone know the maximum amount of guests that can be accommodated in the Briar Fox?? I'm nervous, we are inviting 190 and I dont want to have a crowded room!

I was told 180 was max.
If you are inviting 190, at least 10-20 people probably won't show and hopefully you will be fine

About 20% will say no. Even people you are sure will come, won't. You'd be surprised. You'll be fine!!

I had a quick question for my fellow fox hollow brides! I think I might be under my minimum which is so weird because I never thought I would be. I haven't received all the RSVP's yet though. But just in case I was wondering does Fox Hollow give you any extras usually if you don't reach your minimum???

Katie, Linda (browneysncute) got a few extras for her wedding (yesterday!) because she was under her minimum.

Can you believe we are 40 days away?????

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I'm going back to Fox Hollow sometime in the next few weeks to see the room they wanted to give me again, The Winter Garden room.

The last time I was there it was during the day and there was a wedding going on so I couldn't go inside. I've seen pictures but I really want to go on a night where I can go in. Hopefully a week night. I want to take a few pictures to help me remember too. I didn't care for the room so much in day but after seeing people's night pictures I am interested in going back.

The pictures of it at night look amazing! But like I said I was there during the day. The only way I saw the room was mid afternoon, with a wedding going on and they had me looking down from one of the balconys.

I hope I can go on a week night when nothing is going on and I can go in there. Might make me rethink the place and book it.

Yeah definitely call up the BM you are dealing with and inquire about what evening the room will be free, or maybe even better set up for an affair so you can look at it beforehand?

The BM i dealt with told me the best time to go visit is around 10:30am on Saturdays before the affairs start since the whole place is empty... i know you didn't like it during the day but just FYI!

good luck!

The girl who called didn't ask what it was for. Me, I'd be asking before she even finished her sentence. I will email AnnMarie now to see what this might be and who it pertains to ... my only guess is that she's under her minimum.

Yeah I saw it at 2pm during the day, I'm looking for a night view of it. Ken was the BM I met with and I'll put in a call to him later this week once all my appts are lined up.

I still got 2-3 more halls to see before decision is made.

Thanks for the help!

Could it be possible they said service charge (that's what they call the gratuity)? Maybe over the phone she heard the wrong thing. We did not pay any surcharge.

Could someone please tell me what size pictures the table number frames hold? Also what color frames doe the Garden Terrave room have?

Appreciate it.

I dontthink there is a surcharge. Something must have been wrong or underpaid.

Just spoke to AnnMarie via email. It's a service charge / tax ... the sister of this 08 bride must have heard 'surcharge.' I should know better than listen to hearsay!!!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

So I go through this every now and again...I am having doubts about my room!!! The Briar Fox...

My sister went to a wedding there and said it was over crowded. She said she couldn't see more than 125 in that room.

I just looked at pictures from one photographer and the ceiling is SO low it looks funny in all the pictures.

I just feel that I might have made the wrong choice....I don't want to feel that I'm in a dark basement....

What do you guys think? Thanks..

We told them that our guest list is at 185 right now...I am nervous it might grow!
