SO I called Dave about my room situation and he said he would take care of it- well guess what- I called the inn a week after he told me that (yesterday) and I'm still not in the system for my comp room. IT'S in my contract- so annoying. I'm sick and tired of calling!
if its on your contract, i'd go there one day with the contract and speak with someone.
i know. but because i live in CT it's hard to go there unless i have vendor appointments but at this point i'm totally willing to go there just for that if it's not straightened out soon.
I just called the Inn to Reserve a room for the night before the wedding and they confirmed that my comp. room for the wedding night WAS in the system...phew....that is one weight off my shoulders at least!
I get excited at getting the littlest things done....I can't imagine how exciting it must feel to be a week or 2 away from your big day!!!

so am i.. you guys will have pics galore and it will be interesting to see two setups in one day!
ooh congrats on your upcoming weddings!!!
i would love to know how the spacing looks in the GT room, and the amount of people you have in there! I am concerned b/c my minimum is 125 and i know that room can hold 300!
They will probably use the round tables for you. They take up more room.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you remaining 08'ers pics!
I want to see what different colored linens look like on the tables instead of white.
Did anyone choose any other color than white?
I picked gold over ivory I think. Or ivory over gold. I hope the gold's on top - I better confirm that!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Anyone know how far before your wedding the fox hollow will tell you who your maitre d / bridal attendant is? they told me a while ago that each maitre d has their own set of picture frames for table numbers, and that they are not all the same color - some are gold, some are black, some are silver. I want gold to match with my fall colors, and I don't want to be buying frames and possibly spraypainting the week of my wedding
So just wanted to know what you have heard about how soon they have this info.

UGH really? Maybe I should get some cheap ones and hold on to the receipt so I can return if they maitre d I get has the right color.
I know it's a small detail but i really want all those small touches to make a big impact and be cohesive, so it's important to me. mainly for pictures.
my mom decorated some things for her house the morning of with fake sunflowers, and yes they are my colors, but not the look i am going for. i felt bad telling her but for pictures, i want it to allll have a certain look, you know?

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
i know exactly what you mean- you're putting all this time and effort (and not to mention money) on your wedding and you want everything to be the way you envision it- that's perfectly normal! hope everything falls into place- it's the last minute wedding stress! it will pass

Yeah ... I'm going to the poconos this weekend to stay at my mom's vacation home, they have a few up there, I'll look.
I was just hoping the fox hollow would tell me in like early october so they it's one less thing to worry about.

I'm having around 130, so you'll get a very good idea from my pics. I am a bit worried about it, but i'm just hoping it looks nice and spacious and not sparse.Ugh.. they never told me who my maitre d and attendant are.. and i am having a gold/ivory/orange/brown colors.. ivory over gold linens and gold napkins. I would not love black or silver.. but at this late date, whatever!

I'm really surprised that is your minimum. For an April wedding on a Saturday afternoon they told me 175. For Saturday night it was 225. I'm shocked they gave you that room with such a low minimum for a saturday afternoon. That's great!!

We chose navy blue underneath with ivory on top with blue napkins to match. No chair covers.

Maybe b.c of the date?
Originally I was getting married on a Saturday afternoon and they gave me the 125 minimum, but the minute I changed to sat. night it went up to 200.

Yes i am getting married on a saturday afternoon in june. I could not have the GT room for that low of a minimum unless i had an afternoon wedding, and i preferred that room over the briar fox where they were going to put us if we had a night wedding.
