Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
my two cents on the front is that you have a LOT going on (on the front of your dress, it's GORGEOUS). You don't want to take away from that by adding a fussy front and then tiara and veil on top of that...

Jenn I love your dress and your hair! I know what you mean though, you want to love your hair since it's your wedding day! All those that you posted are very nice though!

Thanks, I am leaning towards the ones on this post - I think I like the last one I posted the most but I am not sure how it will look on me. I am going to try to make an appt for a hair trial where she can do a few things and see which I like ....

I love the bridge by the outdoor ceremony area to the right of the hall. Love the water feature in front. The horse-drawn carriage though is really nice, too. (Horses will be absent, of course.)

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
just had my appointment at fox hollow where i finalized menu and chose linens, etc. I gave them a pic of this cake, except i want it 4 tiers and no flowers on top. i was charged extra for the flowers and chose the whipped cream icing because i refused to pay $350 more for fondant (thats nuts!) I hope my cake doesn't look like crap the day of, I almost went with an outside vendor for the cake but they are so expensive. i hope i don't regret my decision!

I went with Whipped Cream too. I wanted fondant but not for 300 bucks! Plus my dad wasnt gonna buck up for them. Hopefully they follow the pic I gave them as well. Guess we shall see!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
As for the hair question--mine wasn't quite simple, but I LOVED it, and it held all night without any hairspray (my hair dresser is a genius). Here's the back. She swirled it around to make it look like a flower, which is kinda hard to see in this pic.
I don't have a great photo of how it looked in the front (that's where it was simple), but this will have to do

I wouldnt stress about it. IMO whipped cream is better b/c fondant is gross and I always hate dealing with it when trying to eat wedding cake.
In the grand scheme of things the cake appearance isn't that important... I went to Erga Bakery (where F.H. get their cakes) and its yummy so I'm not worried.
I hope that helps
