Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Does anyone know the maximum amount of guests that can be accommodated in the Briar Fox?? I'm nervous, we are inviting 190 and I dont want to have a crowded room!

I believe the definite max is 170 or 180... i'm inviting about 170... im hoping at least 20 can't make it.. i dont want to be too crowded..
With 190 invited you should definitely be under the max.

....you are getting married 2 weeks after me!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

i dropped my stuff off today - it was great. i am really so excited! got some info on the table numbers.. each room has their own set, not each maitre d.. so GT has silver.. i begged them to use gold since I know there is no other wedding at the same time as mine. They were nice enough to make the switch, but i'm sure if there was another wedding going on at the same time as mine, they wouldn't have been able to do so.

anyway, the meeting was great and everyone there is so nice and i've been a real pain in the neck! sooo hopefully the stressful part is over and now we can just enjoy!

I was just there and had concerns about the Briar Fox. Dave told me, if your having a DJ, comfortable 170...however if your having a band, he would suggest 160.

It makes so much more sense that each room has their own set of table number frames, not each maitre d -- but that is what annmarie told me! Who did you meet with this week??? I will email annmarie again .... (I email her 3x a week anyhow about something, i'm sure she won't mind one more email ... )

so am i.. you guys will have pics galore and it will be interesting to see two setups in one day!

ooh congrats on your upcoming weddings!!!

i would love to know how the spacing looks in the GT room, and the amount of people you have in there! I am concerned b/c my minimum is 125 and i know that room can hold 300!

I'm really surprised that is your minimum. For an April wedding on a Saturday afternoon they told me 175. For Saturday night it was 225. I'm shocked they gave you that room with such a low minimum for a saturday afternoon. That's great!!

Maybe b.c of the date? Originally I was getting married on a Saturday afternoon and they gave me the 125 minimum, but the minute I changed to sat. night it went up to 200.

Yes i am getting married on a saturday afternoon in june. I could not have the GT room for that low of a minimum unless i had an afternoon wedding, and i preferred that room over the briar fox where they were going to put us if we had a night wedding.

That's great. I was just surprised because my wedding was in April and they told me 175 for a Saturday Afternoon and 225 for a Saturday night. I would have thought that it would have been the same or higher in June which is more of a peak month. I never thought it would be lower!

Hmm.. Who knows maybe i'm paying a higher rate per person? I just wanted to make sure i stayed at a # i was comfortable at... I really liked the BM i worked with! Unfortunately he is gone now though (Ron)

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I'm getting married Feb. 15'09 and have just a few questions. I rather ask u ladies before i start becoming a pain in the a** to the staff at FH.lol
1. Is the maitre'd and bridal attendent included or is it extra?

2. Do they give u a room at the inn on your wedding night or do u actually have to pay? If so do they offer a discount without doing a group rate?

3. In regards to the table #'s, if i provide my own frames and numbers, what size is recommended?

4.I want to have a candy buffet. does the FH allow this and if so how do they present the table (is out for the whole affair or do they bring it in towards the end of the night?)

I'm sorry if these questions sound stupid but i would really appreciate any help. I feel like i haven't the slightest idea whatsoever of what i'm doing.

1. the maitre'd and bridal attendant are included however you are expected to tip them.
2. Being that your wedding is February, you probably get a room (only given during certain months.) Make sure the put it in your contract. Also, you can block rooms for your guests at a discounted rate.
3. I would recomment 5x7 frames and numbers...but that's jmo.
4. I had a candy buffet at my wedding there and it was a huge hit! They set the whole thing up very nicely (no pics on my comp..sorry!) They bring it out during dessert.

Congratulations on your engagement! Fox Hollow is fantastic!!

I got a comp room at the Inn for our wedding night.. And i know they do offer discounted group rates . I also just booked a room for myself for the night before and they gave me 10% off...
I believe they provide framed table #'s for the reception...each room has their own set..not sure what color the frames are though.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I had a quick question for my fellow fox hollow brides! I think I might be under my minimum which is so weird because I never thought I would be. I haven't received all the RSVP's yet though. But just in case I was wondering does Fox Hollow give you any extras usually if you don't reach your minimum???

I'm not sure I'm kinda new at this myself but there was a previous post from someone that didn't meet their minimum and got a few things thrown in. Look back a few posts and see.

I was told 180 was max.
If you are inviting 190, at least 10-20 people probably won't show and hopefully you will be fine
