Making the magic happen on your wedding day often starts with finding just the right words to say when as you prepare to “pop the question”.
And, just like your wedding day, you’re going to want your proposal to be truly romantic, special, memorable, and unique.
Start by thinking about what makes each of you stand out (especially to each other) and what makes your love and relationship so special.
Using “that” as you’re starting point you’re bound to come up with a proposal that’s pretty creative and cleaver….and if you need some ideas, here are a few ingenious idea inspirations.
Meaningful Inspirations: Draw your inspiration from places that have significant meaning to the both of you. Send your love and a few of her family members and friends to one of these locations and surprise her by being there down on one knee or arranging for clues all along the way before surprising her with a ring and a proper proposal.
Movie Mania: Film your proposal for posterity. You could use a video camera or your smart phone to make a short film to present to your soon to be bride. Include pictures of footage of special moments from your relationship and string them together to create the perfect romance that ends with a proposal. You can show your special feature just before watching your favorite show, at a family dinner, or for a real WOW factor at the local movie theatre (if they are willing to work with you) just before the main feature.
“I Dos” For Adventurous Types: Think about writing “Will You Marry Me” in the snow and then taking a ski lift over the area where you’ve inscribed your proposal…..or how about going rock climbing and popping the question at the top of the peak….when it comes to outrageous, outdoor proposals, the sky’s literally the limit.
Fun and Fabulous Flash Mob Proposals: Think about going all out and hiring a flash mob to help you ask for her hand in marriage. This trendy tradition is great for outgoing, high energy types who enjoy lots of action, attention and the element of surprise.
Make It A Family Affair: If your lady is close to her family and friends think about ways to get them involved without spilling the beans. Maybe they can join you at a restaurant or invite HER out to dinner, each presenting the bride to be with subtle clues that lead up to you surprising her with a ring, a proposal and all being part of planning your spectacular “I Dos”.
