Arriving In Style: Limos…Not Just for the Bride and Groom
Sep 12, 2018 01:56 PM Back
It’s your day, one you’ve been planning and waiting for, for quite some time. So, it stands to reason that you both should be pampered, “the rock stars” and in the spotlight.
But wait, it’s not a party without ALL the other important people in your lives…and so, in many ways it’s their day too.
When it comes to wedding day transportation, it’s important to think about not only the many options you have when it comes to your ride, but how you want your honored and esteemed guests to arrive.
Are you and your groom riding up on white horses? Maybe a horse-drawn carriage, motorcycle, chariot, trolley, or maybe, if you’re a summer bride a speedboat is more you style? It’s ALL available if you have the means and the vision…and so long as your wedding party and perhaps other esteemed guests can also hitch an elegant ride.
Brides and grooms typically ride in the limo along with their respective bridal parties (unless, as highlighted above, they are traveling “along”) while parents are transported to the main event(s) of the day together in a limo, rolls or some other stylish ride. The bride’s parents are typically picked up first and then they head to the groom’s home to pick up his parents. Grandparents SHOULD also be shuttled in style, either alongside the parents of the groom and bride or in a separate “limo” of their own.
Guests usually drive themselves, and arrive on their own. However, if you are hosting at an out of reach location or have many guests from out of town who are staying at a central location, you may want to consider a shuttle bus or a trolley to accommodate.
Consult with one of your areas many Long Island luxury limo companies and discuss in detail all your wants and needs and make sure everyone who may need it is able to catch a ride and arrive in style.
