Getting married legally before the big day?

The best and the most confusing thing about getting married these days is that there are no rules any more. How you are to secure your future and make your dreams a reality sometimes takes nontraditional steps these days.
In today's world there are many reasons that couples choose to get legally married before the public ceremony. Health care is the most common one that I see. One of my couples was saving over $400. a month by signing the license a year in advance. They chose a year to the day so they would only have one anniversary to remember! Some couples have gotten the news that they will be parents and do not want to rush the planning... but still want to be able to care for and protect the family they will soon become. Some are buying a home, and some have found the love of their life in a person who was born a continent or a hemisphere away who can't stay by their side without the benefit of marriage.
It is more common than ever that people have 2 ceremonies and why not? In My Opinion what ever works is always the order of the day!
