How to pick the perfect wedding date?

So you've just got engaged? Congratulations!! You're thinking, let the stress begin.. but let us give you a few tips on how to ease the stress of picking the perfect day to walk down the aisle.
There are many couples that would love the idea of marking their wedding day with a special occassion or a holiday. Many get married on Valentine's Day or on their first date anniversary. Picking the most memorable day of your life does not have to be stressful.
With that being said, make sure not to plan on a day that would conflict with a major event. The last thing you would want to do is wed on the same day as the Super Bowl or the World Series. You want guests to have their full attention on you and your wedding not thinking about what else they could've been doing that day. Also, avoid obvious days like a Friday that falls on the 13th of the month, or day light savings where it gives your guests the chance to mistake the time they should be attending.
Friday and Saturday are the most popular days to get married and have your reception, they are also the most expensive days to rent a venue. If you're looking for a budget friendly day of the week, you may want to go with a weekday or a sunday afternoon wedding.
Lastly, take into account you and your partner's favorite season of the year. If you want blooming flowers and sunshine, spring and summer are a better choice. If you're looking for rich colors and a rustic theme, fall would be ideal. And, if you're looking for the beautiful look of a winter wonderland, winter is your best bet.
