Bridal Beauty Diaries: Brittany – Hair & Make-Up Trials
Hair and make-up trials seemed kind of silly to me BUT, after hearing too many horror stories, I am a convert.
After hours—make that days—of scouring the internet and various magazines, I found my wedding day hairdresser through word of mouth. Believe it or not, I actually went to high school with her! My best friend's sister had used her and had an amazing experience. When checking out her work online I was blown away; it was exactly the look I was going for. After only speaking to Jessica on the phone I booked her immediately, trusting she would be able to achieve the wedding look of my dreams. Check out her work!
Prior to my trial, I did extensive research on Pinterest, which is a great tool for brides and allows you to see styles you may not even have considered. I am leaning towards an updo, as it will give me the polished and timeless look I am going for while also allowing me to dance the night away without a worry. (Here are the looks I pinned.)
I can't wait for my actual wedding day, which is a little more than 7 months away! I definitely feel the hair trial was a necessary part of being able to visualize my entire look for my wedding day and allow me to relax a little bit. I know I am in good hands with Jessica and BridalRush.
And, as my wedding date gets closer, I'm amazed how things are progressing with my Invisalign treatment. Tomorrow marks only 10 more weeks to go. I'm celebrating with a follow-up appointment with Dr. Celenza, who will evaluate my teeth and give me my next three aligners—I'm so excited to have the finish line in sight!
