Spring Wedding Availability!

So I usually try to keep this blog to practical advice and today I am going to let you in on a little secret...
This Spring is very light for many of Long Islands best vendors. Much of the planning for a Spring wedding is done the in the fall of the year before.
As everyone will remember last fall many of us were without power and some of us were under water. With bigger things on many people's plate wedding planning was put off till walls, floors and ceilings could be secured.
What does this mean from a practical stand point?
It means go ahead and call with short notice requests! Many of your dream vendors have availability.
It also means that everyone who has put off a 2013 wedding will be competing for those same vendors in 2014 and 2015. So you will want to book anyone that you have your heart set on working with early.
Whether it's long or short, happy planning!
And remember the day you marry your best friend and the love of your life will be the most amazing day of your lives. So once you have found that person everything else will fall into place.
