Thoughts on your Wedding Day

Last August was my 34th Wedding Anniversary. After our traditional champagne toast to each other, my wife and I took out our Wedding Photo Album-another tradition. As we looked through the pages of memories, each of us a little teary-eyed, my wife made a comment that stopped me in my tracks- She said
'I'll never look that good again!'
I assured her she was wrong. That when I walked into the hospital room years ago and saw her holding our first baby, she was more gorgeous than ever. And that when we celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary, she absolutely glowed.
Later, I thought to myself that if by 'looking that good' she meant by the typical societal standards of beauty pageants she was right! She was now grey haired (to my own contrast of NO HAIRED!), and there were wrinkles- good wrinkles , smile wrinkles around her lips and sun wrinkles from too much fun in the sun.
That's what she meant, of course. In our wedding photos we were as good as it gets! But today we have the marvelous ability to look absolutely stunning in our wedding photos, and -here at least-at an affordable price.
