Hello readers... my name is Matthew Sanchez. My father, Nicasio Sanchez, has been in the luxury album business for over a decade. His client base was, for the most part, comprised of some of the most well-known photographic studios in New York City, including Fred Marcus and Dennis Reggie. We have also, on occasion, produced books for celebrities. I have recently come on board to assist him in a new venture. We are no longer doing business with studios. Rather, we are aiming to become more intimately involved with the consumer. We are providing the consumer with an offer they can't refuse (pardon the Godfather reference, but I couldn't resist). If the studio has to pay too much, then it has to charge the consumer more than she is willing to pay. Therefore, the quality of the album is compromised. With the economy taking a turn for the worse, this issue is magnified. The average consumer just does not have enough money to pay for premium quality.
