Bride of the Month: Blair

This month our featured Bride of the Month was our Winter bride, Blair! Blair made such an amazingly beautiful bride and was so enjoyable to work with. Blair wrote a blog post about her experience with Bridal Rush on her wedding day.
When I was planning my winter wedding, I went through countless hair options on pinterest and in magazines. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with my hair! I would go back and forth countless times and would always think I had made up my mind, only to change it again the next day. I knew that I didn't want something completely up, because I felt my dress had a fun and young feeling to it and I felt an updo wouldn't match the dress. I kept debating between wearing my hair all down, half up, or all to one side. When I scheduled my initial trial with Jessica at Bridal Rush she assured me that we would be able to try everything and make an informed decision after seeing all of the options. At the end of the trial, I knew I wanted Jessica to be my stylist on my wedding day, but I was still stumped on a style. I was almost certain I was going to go with all to one side, almost like a fancy ponytail with extensions. For months after my trial, I went through the pictures over and over again, but kept changing my mind! Jessica was available to me via email throughout the planning and was so helpful and patient as I kept changing my mind. We even did a second trial together, about a week before my wedding day, when I was going to be having my final dress fitting. I had purchased my hair piece and earrings and was almost positive at this point I was going to go with an all down style. We did the trial and I went to my final fitting, loving my hair. On the day of my wedding, I wanted more volume on top and wanted my extensions to be placed lower than the week before to allow for more length. Jessica and her assistant gave me exactly what I asked for and it ended up being the perfect wedding hairstyle for me. From my mom, to my bridesmaids to myself, they did a phenomenal job on all different types of hair and styles. They were flexible and fun to work with! I got so many compliments throughout the night on my hair and really loved how it came out in pictures. After all of the debating, the back and forth, the indecisiveness, I was so happy that I chose the style I did. It's such a big decision to make, and the pictures last a lifetime, but having a stylist that is so willing to work with your options and be available to answer questions throughout the process made everything so much easier and made me relax a bit more than I would have without her. I knew that no matter what, they would make me look beautiful on my day, and I was right! I had the wedding day of my dreams and am so thankful I chose Bridal Rush to style my hair!
