Sand Ceremony!

Sand is great for outdoor weddings where candles are tricky to light. My quick tip to make the table more interesting is to pour some of your sand on it!
Truth be told the first time I did this it was by accident. I had bumped into the table while the couple was literally on the way down the aisle spilling some of their sand. So I quickly spilled some of the other color and made a pattern... It looked so good I sometimes do it on purpose now!
Are you having live musicians at your ceremony?
If music is important enough that you have hired people to come play for your wedding, let's give them an opportunity to play! Moving the Sand Ceremony from after the vows, to the middle of the ceremony, is a great way to get more music. You can describe the ceremony then as you go to pour let the music begin! This placement works just as well with the Unity Candle.
