Sandals Royal Bahamian - An absolute gem!

The multi-million dollar refurbishment of the Balmoral Tower at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort in Nassau, Bahamas was worth every penny! All the rooms in the Balmoral Tower are brand new with gorgeous furnishings in hues of blues and grays. It's the perfect facelift and just what this resort needed. The new pictures on the walls in each and every room are that of the sea and the sand so even inside you get that warm tropical feeling.
As I walked along the expansive beach, I was so impressed by the soft white sand and the beautiful pier which is home to 'Gordon's on the Pier' offering a magnificent fine dining restaurant experience right over the water. I kicked my feet up as I perched in the chairs situated all the way up the pier, and I can honestly say that was one of my favorite 'quiet' moments during my stay. I had a light breeze flowing thru my hair and the crash of the waves beneath me as I gazed out into the Turquoise water. It just goes to prove that there is always a quiet spot for guest s to relax and away from the rest of the resort.
The Dining choices are expansive and no guest is left hungry. There is food service 24 hrs a day. Once of my favorites meals I had at the Cricketeers Pub which is an actual pub, disassembled and brought over to this resort from England complete with the English Manager. The Casanova Italian Restuarant has an Italian chef and Luca the Manager was straight from Italy. If you want a fine dining experince the Baccarat offers a small intimate setting with tables for two (unless you request otherwise) where the food is amazing not only at dinner time but also for Breakfast.
Overall, my experience was a truly positive one from start to finish. I can't thank the staff enough for making me feel right at home. My stay was a quick 4-nights and I left there longing to go back someday.Sandals Royal Bahamian
