New Years Resolutions!!
The holidays are over, the New Year is in full swing, and the resolutions are made. Now how do you ensure that you follow thru to achieve want you want?
Whether it is going on a diet or vowing to have more patience with your in-laws (no this wasn't my resolution although it could have been) making the decision to want to improve yourself or change something in your life is something that you should be proud of!
Too often people want to make changes and when things do not happen quick enough or you lose willpower you want to throw in the towel. I urge you stay strong, acknowledge yourself for wanting a better version of yourself and realize that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to!
Here are some tips to keep in mind when you setting a goal for yourself:
1. Stay committed – no matter how hard it gets remember the goal.
2. Know from the beginning that you will have a bad day or two – don't beat yourself up everyone has bad days – push thru and now tomorrow will be better.
3. Go with the flow and stay focused.
4. Small progress is still progress.
5. Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done!
Another thing to remember is it doesn't have to be a new year for you to decide that you want to make changes or improvements in your life – you can start at any time you want! You are in the driver's seat the question is do you want to settle or do you want to be extraordinary? I go for extraordinary but the decision is lies only in your hands.
